The Pintail 27 was built in the 1970s at the Rossiter boatyard in England, over specified and of robust quality, seaworthy with Lloyds 100 A1 Yacht certificate. Hull and deck are made of polyester, characteristic are the solid varnished wooden parts, such as the cockpit, foot and handrail, deck hatch, etc. With the long keel and bilge keels, upright drying out is possible, which makes the Pintail very suitable for exploring tidal waters such as for example the Wadden Sea.
