The production began back in the middle 80's.
Now, Viko UK is a division of Legend Yachts UK Ltd.

In 1985 taken over by Kirié Marine and then given to Les Sables d'Olonne.

Hans Johnson and Herman Gmack founded Palmer Johnson Yachts in 1918, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, USA.

It is thought that Yachting France did not come into being until 1970 with the merger of Jouet and Arcoa, (a manufacturer of powerboats that still exists). The company apparently acquired other builders such as Lanaverre during this period. Next to Beneteau, Yachting France was the largest French producer of fiberglass sailing yachts for a number of years.

1912 Kirié shipyard was founded. The shipyard originally built small sailing boats.
In the 1950s, production turned more towards speed boats.
In the early ‘80s, Kirié launched a range of habitable power cruise ships called "Feeling".
In 2000, Alliaura Marine took over the Kirié shipyard.
Since 2012(?), Feeling is owned by Privilège Marine.
