Pauger Carbon wurde 1990 von Dénes Paulovits in Ungarn gegründet. 10 Jahre lang beschäftigte man sich mit der Produktion von GFK-Yachten. Ab 2000 setzte man ganz auf die Fertigung von Carbon Composites und wurde schließlich 2006 mit dem Bau der Russell Coutts 44 i Segelyacht beauftragt. Heute fertigt man im wesentlichen Masten. Allerdings wird hier auch die Code 8 hergestellt.

The bankruptcy of this group led the boat molds and rights to be split between two groups, one on the west coast and one on the east. The latter ones ended up at Tanzer Industries where a small number of boats were built until 1988.
